Stay embodied ?

What does that mean? Stay embodied. It means “staying” or dropping in or tuning in to our bodies - and the wholeness of our experience - sensations, emotions, and thoughts, and especially the sensations which bring up the feelings, which bring up our stories, of shame or freedom and clarity.

It is about staying “attuned” with our bodies so we can be more present and mindful with our children.

Embodied (being present in our body), so we can emerge and live out fully and wholeheartedly our wild and most precious life.

You see, in so many of our life’s moments and interactions with our children and loved ones, we get stuck in our heads - with analyzing, thinking through, deciding, conjuring up and so much more. Staying embodied - means - we take a stand to be curious and nonjudgmental about our experiences, in a way that is mindful - actually, grounded in our body and our senses. We find that common core of stillness where intuition and clarity comes in.

We cultivate a space of surrender (not passive, but intentional) and acceptance to make room for the emotions and feelings that creep in and look at them with curiosity and playfulness. This sounds easy, but it is not. But it is from this place, that we can be more open and capable to “be” with our children and ourselves.

The is Blog/Website is about learning about how this is done and how we can learn together and from each other.

Love and much embodied moments,

Flora
